I create these layered paintings by adding and subtracting paint using various mediums and tools. Inspired by patterns observed in my surroundings I work from imagination and memory. My work process follows a rhythm of adding paint, pausing, listening, then adding more paint or taking some away, as if colors and paints are in a conversation.
